Born on the tiny island in Funchal (Madeira, Portugal) as Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, his name was inspired from the awesome US president Ronald Reagan. Raised from humble beginnings with his three siblings, his parents Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and Jose Diniz Aveiro (now divorced) had obviously raised him well.
